Meet the team

Jeremy Giles FCCA provides tax advice to individuals and companies on a bespoke basis. Accountants and IFAs often exclude tax advice from their engagement terms leaving a client in need of specific specialist tax advice only. Jeremy has established strong links with a number of top-quality professional firms who refer him regularly to their clients. He instructs leading Tax Counsel when a client case requires a specialist opinion and undertakes regular CPD training provided by members of the Tax Bar. Jeremy lectured publicly (for Tolleys/Lexis Nexis during 2012/13) on partnership tax matters to fellow professional advisors at CPD accredited conferences and now delivers tax talks to invited audiences on popular tax topics online for introducers and the IFA accounting regulator.

Jeremy trained with a City of London accountancy firm (now Kreston Reeves), qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1999. In 2001/2, he joined a Tunbridge Wells based firm of Chartered Accountants, Registered Auditors and Chartered Tax Advisors where he developed his skills in private client tax planning for individuals and OMB corporate clients and developing and finding new business.

He set up his own consultancy in 2007/8 and has provided independent bespoke advice to UK taxpaying clients being resident or non-resident persons and/or body corporates’. This business continues today and is 100% advisory with compliance work being referred. He has built tax advisory businesses from scratch for QED in the UK and Northern Ireland, for PG Lemon LLP in Kent and London and ETC Tax London (until the Covid pandemic intervened). He is a Fellow of the ACCA.
