Robin was born on the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. Her vibrant childhood strongly influenced her outlook on the world, particularly in her depiction of colour and texture which are both important aspects of her paintings to this day. She has been painting professionally since completing a BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Bath Spa University College in 2003.

Robin is interested in the world and the environment and her work has an impressionistic feel she aims to capture the figurative and the very essence of reality. Consequently she has developed a style of contemporary painting that is quite textured and highly tactile with many layers of translucent glazes, which aim is to stimulate the viewers senses and imagination.

In addition to her studio in High Wycombe, Robin is currently exhibiting at the AdLib Gallery in Wimbledon.
